Install and set up Pythia apps to start working.
Follow the next steps to install and set up Pythia apps (for Zendesk Support and Zendesk Chat)
- Install app(s) from Marketplace
Install only the app for Zendesk Support if you will use Pythia only in Support; install both apps if you will use Pythia in Support and Chat (install the app for Zendesk Chat).
- Register Pythia instance
Go to Settings page clicking on Pythia's icon in the left sidebar and fill in your admin email and Zendesk Support API token (see Generating a new API token) and click "Register". To create an API token for Chat contact us.
- Sync Zendesk assets (macros, shortcuts, etc) to Pythia
Click on the 'Synchronize' button and wait until it is finished. For more details follow the article How to sync macros/shortcuts to Pythia.
- Move Pythia on top of your apps
To ensure that Pythia app is always visible as a first of all apps in the ticket sidebar, you need to reorder apps. Check this article from Zendesk Help Center for detailed instructions.
